No Pants Dementia News http://nopants.dragonrift.com/news.php For the Rantings of a DJ Dragon tseran@dragonrift.com © Tseran WyrmNews 1.0 It's been a long while news.php After the "Wax Yer Sheleighleigh" show went off without a hitch, and with all the advertising I have been doing, I figured it was time for a good old site update. First thing some of you may have noticed is that there is no longer an archive section. This is because it wasn't being used, so it was a waste of my storage space. Also, I stopped storing them, as it took up too much hard drive space on my local machine.

I have not been doing much with my show lately, in terms of new things, or Weekly Weird News. Also, the Saturday show has been cancelled by my own decision. I admit, I have a new addiction, World of Warcraft, which does take up a lot of time and processor power. However, the Saturday show as becoming a drag, and it was competing against me having more of a social life and some pretty good TV shows. This weekend, I actually plan to go out and DO something. Have no idea what, besides hitting Wallyworld and probably B&N.

Here's what is coming up. Firstly, just before the summer solstice, there will be an evil omen day. The day of 6-6-6. This will be the Apocalypse show. Prepare for the end of days with one hell of a party! (pun intended) Assuming we survive that day, then we will work on the growing of two mini-segments of the show: Cthulhu Comedy Corner and Hail to the Chimp. I still need more anti-Bush songs, and more Cthulhu songs too. After getting some positive feedback from ShoEboX of Worm Quartet regarding "The Bushie's Face" I am looking to find someone who can help me with the instrumentals for it. I can't find a kareoke version of it anywhere, and I kind of have a different vision for it.

My comedy music collection, heck my entire music collection, is growing faster then I can keep it updated on the website. To that end, I am going to try and devote one day a week to making sure I update it. Also, because there seems to be a general consensus that some of my music not in the comedy playlist actually could be considered dementia, I may have another database later that is my ENTIRE music collection listed (minus the comedy, which is already listed). Anything you think may be comedy that currently isn't listed as such can be be noted, and that way I can sort it better. The obvious comedy I should have, but to be honest, there is a LOT of my music that I haven't even listened to. The curse of having 32GB music and not enough time to listen to it all. But that's what my iPod is for.

Thursday - March 16, 2006 Updates! news.php Its been a while, but, I have decided not to post the archives anymore, since they are just taking up space and I am seeing that no one is downloading them. Oh well. I have updated the song list, something that has needed being done for a long long time. Now there is over 1000 more songs to request! I still don't have as impressive a dementia collection as I would like, but I am getting there. At least now, I have a full 30 GB iPod worth of songs. Friday - December 16, 2005 Her Bushie's Face news.php While sitting in the channel, someone came up with the idea for a song, with just a bit of a line. The rest is history.  Sunday - November 06, 2005 No news is good news? news.php Its been a while since news has hit the site. Why? I've been a little busy with shows and finding a new job. Also trying to keep myself closer to sane. I am also working on my own podcast reality show, Evol Overlord Apprentice. If you can contribute a voice, please let me know. I need to get as many people involved to make this great. Look for more news on this when I get the website up for it and have everyone confirmed.

Also, it is confirmed. I will be casting the longest running show ever. Total of 26 hours. I have 13 hours of halloween stuff, and I plan to cast it twice. I will start 8 AM on Oct 31st and keep casting till....well, till the server kicks me sometime Nov 1. I hope you all join in and listen from wherever you are. If I get a new job before then, I will be casting live, otherwise, I will just let it cast while I am at work. Saturday - October 22, 2005 It rolled around again news.php The first show of the new month went off perfectly. Not a single hitch, not a single flub up. What a nice treat! The new mic was ordered, pizza was ordered. It was all good. We even had a peak of 19 listeners. Would have made 20 if some people could have tuned in. The archive is transfered up to listen to, and so that isn't a problem,. I have no idea how many people even listen to the archives. Oh well. Things will be changing very soon. Apparently, I am becoming the fill in DJ for everyone, as I have been asked to fill in for someone on every week day this week except Friday, for now. Tuesday - October 04, 2005 Its up and running! news.php The archive function of older news articles is installed. Of course, without having more then 10 news articles, its impossible to test. So, here is the 11th news article, just to test that out. Not only that, the archive is now database driven. This is the next step to making the entire site database driven to keep it all sane. Well, relatively speaking, with me. On a side note, I am going to be seeing Serenity tomorrow. ROCK ON! Friday - September 30, 2005 Hot and Wild! news.php Its official! The news segment is now database driven! Right now it only show the last 10 entries, and neglects the rest, but once I am more awake, I will have a news archive. Also, the way I set it up, the archive will be database driven as well, including the Weekly Weird News. That isn't done yet, but soon will be. Thursday - September 29, 2005 Slow update news.php The update is a little slow this week, but that's how things go. I am looking to revamp the news system and the archive system with a little more database interation, so I don't have to keep updating the page. That's just a little silly. Good news did happen on Monday, it is conmfirmed, I will be taking over for Madman on October 31st! Yes, HALLOWEEN IS MINE! Bwahahaha! This is a good thing! I have (at the moment) 5 hours of dark and brooding music as well as a couple poetry readings too. "The Cremation of Sam McGee" and "The Raven" are already planned. If you have any dark music, please let me know. Don't send it to me right off the bat, as I do have a lot, and it may end up being something I already have. Just let me know title and artist/composer and I will check. Also, I know the poll isn't working, I am trying to get with my service provider to help me fix that. Wednesday - September 28, 2005 Last Minute Changes news.php Last minute change to the date! How last minute? I had 15 minutes to prepare. Yes, the show is now on Tuesdays, 6-8 PM right after blindwulf and before Blak's show. I still have an hour of naughty stuff on Saturday, but its not the true show, just a little fun. Tuesday - September 20, 2005 New Segment news.php The introduction of the new segment, "Hail to the Chimp" seemed to cause a little stir in the masses. We had a peak of 14 listeners at one point, with an average of around 10! The new archive is up and ready to be listened to if you missed the show. Also, there should be a link of the funny artists on the show on the "links" area.
